VerifyMyHash

Overview

VerifyMyHash is a standalone Windows Forms application that allows users to select a file, compute its hash using the SHA256 algorithm, and compare it against a user-provided hash. This tool is designed to help verify the integrity of files by checking whether the computed file hash matches the expected hash.

Requirements

Windows 7 or later
No additional installations are needed (standalone .exe)

Known Issues

Currently, only the SHA256 algorithm is supported. Future versions may support additional hash algorithms (e.g., MD5, SHA1).
Ensure the selected file is not open or locked by another application during verification.
